Meet Patrick
Patrick Chifunda is a former professional squash player with 30+ years of junior coaching experience.
He holds a US Level 3 Coaching Certification and is the former Zambian #1. Patrick achieved a top world ranking of #79 in the PSA and has won national titles in the U.S. Open’s 35+ and 45+ divisions. He’s also a three-time Zambian Commonwealth Games representative.
As a coach, Patrick has worked with hundreds of nationally-ranked juniors. He’s just signed to become the Director of Squash at St. Christopher’s School after a 14-year tenure as the Head Squash Professional at the Country Club of Virginia. At the high school level, Patrick has worked with dozens of teams and taken St. Christopher’s & St. Catherine’s to High School Squash Nationals for the past 15 years.
Through Chifunda Squash Camps, he’s gotten opportunities over the past 15 years to train and travel with top-ranked squash juniors.
